Study Group Session Four

For those who are following along: Here is the written portion of the fourth session of our lenten study group on the liturgies of Holy Week. Please let me know what you think.

2 April 2006 - The Fifth Sunday in Lent

Our Services this week are scheduled for: Sunday: 11am Holy Eucharist, St. Andrew's 6pm Ecumenical Hymn Sing at Ingonish United Church Wednesday 5 April 1o am Holy Eucharist, St. Andrew's To be followed by our Lenten Study Group on Liturgy, this week we shall look at the liturgy of the Easter Vigil. For those who have been following us, I shall post the written portion shortly after this sesson. All are welcome at our services of worship.

26 March 2006 - The Fourth Sunday in Lent also known as Mothering Sunday

This week our services are scheduled for Wednesday 22 March 10am Holy Eucharist, St. John's Church, Ingonish This service will be followed by our Third Session of the Lenten Study Group on Liturgy Sunday our services are scheduled for: 11am Holy Eucharist, St. John's, Ingonish 7pm Evening Prayer, St. Andrew's, Neil's Harbour All are welcome to our services and Study Group.

19 March 2006 - The Third Sunday in Lent

Services this week are scheduled for: 11am Holy Eucharist, St. Andrew's, Neil's Harbour 7pm Evening Prayer, St. John's, Ingonish Also our mid-week Eucharist during Lent is scheduled for Wednesday 22 March 2006, 10am, St. John's Ingonish. This service will be followed by the third Session of our Lenten Study Group on Liturgy. During this session we will look at the liturgies of Holy Week - beginning with Palm Sunday and Monday - Wednesday. All are welcome to attend.

12 March 2006 - The Second Sunday in Lent

Our services this week are scheduled for: 11am Holy Eucharist, St. John's, Ingonish 7pm Evening Prayer, St. Andrew's, Neil's Harbour On Wednesdays during Lent we will be holding a 10am Eucharist followed by our Lenten Study Group. This year the study group is on Liturgy in general and the Liturgies of Holy Week in particular. All are welcome to attend... and bring your Liturgical Questions with you!
