Longest Night
Every year the Pictou County Council of Churches holds a service of worship to recognize that for many people Christmas is not a joyful time. Many people have had losses of one kind or another and those losses become quite poignant at this time of year.
This year St. George's was the host and I offered a brief meditation for this occasion.
