Sermon Ready Waaay TOO Early

This week my sermon had to be finished early - I have a very long and difficult week ahead of me so I had to get this off my plate early. Thus, and so... HERE is the link to the text (posted Tuesday of all days) and the audio (posted Sunday) of this week's sermon.

This week's sermon

This week the readings from scripture are: Exodus 16:2-15 Psalm 105:1-6, 37-45 Philippians 1:21-30 Matthew 20:1-16 There is a lot of great stuff in these passages and I have chosen to focus upon Exodus and Matthew this week. Thus, and so, HERE is the link to the text (posted Saturday) and audio (posted Sunday) of this week's sermon. As always your comments and feed back would be appreciated.

Letter of Resignation

To the Wardens and Congregations of the Parish of Neil’s Harbour with Ingonish From the Reverend M. This resignation will take effect on the 29th of November 2008 so that I may accept the Bishop’s appointment as Rector of the Parish of St. George’s, New Glasgow on the First Sunday in Advent, the 30th of November 2008. Back to work...

Okay, I've been away from preaching for a whole month... well not really, I did get to preach once during the Ask & Imagine program last month. I am refreshed and renewed after a vacation with my family and am ready to meet the challenges ahead of me for the fall. My sermon for this week is much influenced by my experiences at Ask & Imagine (surprise, surprise) and I am eager to hear your comments and your thoughts about it. Thus, if you are interested, please click HERE for the text of my sermon this week and then come back here to leave me your valuable feed back. Also, coming very soon I will be posting my sermon's in audio format. Thanks to Fr. Bill Cliff 's urging I have purchased a digital audio recorder and will upload the contents shortly after services on Sunday. They will be catalogued on another web page which you can find HERE .
