Elliott's Blog

This morning we welcomed a new member into the Body of Christ through the waters of baptism.

Sunday was the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Lest we forget.

Sometimes when you try to use new software you really should test it before you "go live". Unfortunately the audio of my sermon did not turn out the way I had hoped. In point of fact my sermon did not record... I got lots of other noises and things but not my voice. So I had to delete the audio. Thus I have had to re-record it and post it now. Give it a listen and offer me your feedback.

I have found a new way to offer my podcasts rather than using my dropbox. They can now be embedded here with the help from the folk at www.anchor.fm I hope this works better for everyone. Let me know if you like this better. This is the same sermon I posted a few days ago and I hope to have tomorrow's audio up after worship.

My sermon for today can be found by clicking HERE Your feedback is important to me.

This week we were blessed to receive a copy of the Cross of San Damiano to for our worship space. The cross of St. Francis will be our focus for the next little while as we seek ways to follow the instructions of Jesus to "build my church. I speak about this cross briefly in my sermon for this week. Proper 29b 2018 As always your feedback is important to me.

Life, work, and events get in the way sometimes and I get behind in posting my sermons. I know I owe you all at least 3... So here they are Sunday September 30 - St. Francis Sunday October 7 - Thanksgiving Sunday October 14 - Proper 28b Give them a listen and let me know what you agree with or better yet what you disagree with and we'll have a grand conversation. Blessings to you all.

Sunday was the 18th after Pentecost with Proper 25b. You can find the audio of my sermon for that day by clicking HERE Also I found in my archives a sermon that I'm not sure I posted. So if you were wondering about Proper 19b you can find it by clicking HERE Thank you for listening and by all means send me your feedback. What did you like what was challenging what would you like to have heard differently or more of?

My apologies but I seem to be a bit behind posting my sermons. So I have two for you today. From September 2nd - Proper 22b and from today September 16th - Proper 24b In case you are wondering where September 9th went we did the Creation Story from Godly Play in lieu of readings and sermon to kick off our Sunday School for the academic year. As always your feedback is valuable to me
